Q.Can ALEVE® interact with other medications I am taking?
A.
Before you use ALEVE® talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any
of the following drugs:
- anticoagulants (to decrease blood clotting)
- antihypertensive drugs for your heart (including ACE inhibitors and beta-blockers)
- diuretics ("water pills")
- cyclosporine
- glucocorticoids
- lithium
- methotexate
- low dose ASA for doctor supervised preventative therapy (eg. ASPIRIN® 81 mg)
- other pain medications (eg. ibuprofen, acetaminophen).
Taking ALEVE® with a meal may slightly delay its absorption.
