Q.Who can take ALEVE®?
A.
ALEVE® should not be given to children under the age of 12, except under the advice and
supervision of a doctor. As stated on the label, patients over 65 should not take more than one
caplet every 12 hours.
Do not take ALEVE® if you:

are allergic to naproxen, naproxen sodium, acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), other salicylates,
other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) - are allergic to any other non-medicinal ingredients in ALEVE®
- have an active peptic ulcer or a history of recurrent ulceration
- have active gastrointestinal bleeding

have inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease (active or severe),
kidney disease (active or worsening) - are in your third trimester of pregnancy
